This initiative forms part of the local administration's blueprint to create 6GW of data center capability by 2029.

Computing facilities are actual buildings that contain the computing and networking equipment that entities use to gather, analyze, save, and share information.

They feature computer servers, data storage systems and connectivity devices like firewalls and routers, combined with the necessary power and cooling systems to run them.

Financial Attractions

Across Andhra Pradesh, the local administration has been granting reduced-cost property and power to entice international investors.

Industry Growth

India's data centre industry has developed swiftly in the recent half-decade, surpassing the 1GW capability milestone in 2024 and nearly tripling its capability from 2019.
